Crop PDF Pages Online

Trim away huge white margins and focus on the important content.

Trim the Excess

Sometimes documents are formatted for large-scale printing, resulting in massive, useless white margins around the text. When you try to read these files on a tablet or mobile phone, the text becomes incredibly tiny. The easiest solution is to crop PDF margins, allowing the actual content to stretch out and fill your screen perfectly.

Our visual cropping tool lets you draw a precise box over the area you want to keep. It functions just like cropping a photo on your smartphone. When you resize PDF pages, you are physically changing the document's bounding box, so your readers won't have to constantly zoom in just to read the first paragraph.

We believe that adjusting margins shouldn't require giving up your privacy. That's why our cropper does all the heavy lifting using your browser's local resources. Your files are never uploaded to a cloud server, ensuring zero risk of your private documents being intercepted or stored by third parties.

How to Trim Margins

  1. Load File: Drop the document onto the workspace.
  2. Draw the Box: Use your mouse to draw a crop box over the part of the page you want to keep.
  3. Apply Changes: Hit crop. The tool will trim the edges exactly to your specifications.
  4. Download: Save the newly sized document back to your computer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does cropping reduce the file size?

Not usually. Cropping changes the visible dimensions of the page, but the hidden data outside the crop box is sometimes retained in the file code. To actually shrink the megabytes, use our compress tool afterward.

Can I un-crop the file later?

Once you download the cropped file and send it to someone, they generally cannot see what was outside the box. However, you will always have your original, untouched file safely on your computer.
